How many past posts are included after setup?
During setup, connect your platforms and tap SAVE. Signal-Lab will start the initial pull for the last 60 days of posts from each connected platform. This provides enough data to generate meaningful insights from day one. Posts older than 60 days are not imported, as Signal-Lab focuses on improving future performance rather than storing full history.
When is my analysis generated?
Your dashboard data syncs daily at 6:00 AM in your local time zone. Insights refresh every Monday at 6:00 AM. Everything runs automatically.
How is my content performance evaluated?
Performance is measured against your own rolling baseline. Each post is evaluated relative to your typical results. Top-performing content is identified based on your own data — not external benchmarks.
What social media platforms does Signal-Lab support?
Signal-Lab supports Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Threads, and TikTok account linking from Settings.
Account & Setup
How many brands are included per purchase?
Each purchase covers one brand — one Google Sheet, one set of connected platforms, and one dashboard. If you manage multiple brands, each requires a separate license. For multi-brand plans, contact support@signal-lab.io.
Can I switch to a different brand after setup?
Most settings — brand name, platforms, API keys, and time zone — can be updated anytime. However, the Google Sheet URL is locked after activation to protect your data and active automation. To connect a new brand, contact support@signal-lab.io.
Can I add more platforms after setup?
Yes. You can connect additional platforms anytime in the settings page. When added, Signal-Lab automatically pulls the last 60 days of data so your dashboard is ready immediately.
Technical
How do I get a Google Gemini API key?
Google Gemini powers your daily insight reports. To get your API key:
  1. Go to aistudio.google.com
  2. Sign in with your Google account
  3. Click "Get API Key" → "Create API Key"
  4. Copy and paste it into your Signal-Lab settings page
The free tier is sufficient. No paid plan is required.
What happens if my Gemini API key expires or reaches its limit?
If your API key becomes invalid, insight generation will pause. Your dashboard data will continue updating normally. To restore insights, update your key in the settings page. The free tier limits are usually sufficient for regular use.
Can I use Signal-Lab on mobile?
Signal-Lab is designed for tablet and desktop use with a minimum width of 768px. It can be viewed on tablets in landscape mode, but the best experience is on desktop or laptop.
